We would give Ngaged Ltd 5 stars (would do higher if we could). The organisation is excellent and the service they offer is better than we could have hoped for. We originally requested their support to provide tutoring but they have been incredibly flexible to our child's needs and have provided whatever support is needed, which has ended up being more in line with mentoring. The tutor who has been provided to us is excellent at adapting the input to whatever my child can cope with at the time of the session and uses a very low demand approach which is essential. The progress we have seen in our child is really reassuring that given the right support, they are capable of so much. We look forward to working together for quite some time yet.

Ngaged changed everything.
When I first met the Ngaged team and the specific people I was going to be with I was nervous but every single one of them treated me with kindness and empathy. To them it doesn’t matter who you are or your circumstances they will help you.
From just a simple chat to doing school work they help you with it all with patience and kindness.
From my experience I gained so much confidence and the skills to take my next step in life. I am now a College student and have become much more social than I used to be.
I can not explain in words just how wonderful Ngaged is. They truly changed my life.

I have always wanted a job that aligns with my values
I have always wanted a job that aligns with my values and I found full time teaching didn't do that.
I always felt I was failing someone because of the amount of work and responsibilities a teacher has or I felt guilty because every child was dragged through the system and I felt helpless. However, this job views the student as a whole person and meets their needs in a way that I can see has a huge impact on their self esteem.

The tutors are fantastic.
The tutors are fantastic. Exceptionally skilled at dealing with the varying moods and behaviour of my son. Always remaining calm, friendly and and handling it in a very professional way. It's very clear that there is a genuine care and dedication from the tutors for their role. Everything is personalised around my son's needs and despite his best efforts to avoid anything academic, he does actually learn stuff! You're a fantastic team.

Ngaged are a breath of fresh air.
Ngaged are a breath of fresh air. They really helped my daughter come out of her shell. The tutors are all really lovely and patient with their students and don't push them to hard and know when to back off and give them space. Her tutor is amazing and we miss her not coming round. Claire is really lovely too. She listened to everything I said and worked with me so my daughter managed a lot more sessions than she would have.

I have been so impressed with the Ngaged team.
I have been so impressed with the Ngaged team. The tutor who is currently working with my son, is so genuinely lovely, helpful, and interested in my child. It is probably the first time in a long time, someone has told me how lovely my son is, and how they enjoy working with him. We don’t get this from his school. As a parent of a SEND child, life can be tough and quite lonely, so to hear someone outside of the family has enjoyed spending time with your child, this means so much to me. It is such a great experience and one I feel should be had by other SEND children and their families. If I ever email with a query or a change in plan, nothing has ever been too much, the staff reply promptly and resolve any issues so quickly.
Everything Ngaged have done is hugely appreciated by us. So a huge thank you.

Amazing team of people!

The teachers have been excellent in supporting and encouraging X to challenge himself and achieve his potential. Those who knows X well comment on his growth since working with the teachers. Everyone has been fantastic but the tutor has gone above and beyond and it is hard to quantify the positive impact she has had on X. He wouldn't even come out of his room to meet her two years ago after through her patience and support he has found his voice and social confidence. Thank you. The personal approach has enabled X to engage and progress. By learning in public setting this has addressed his social anxiety and hugely improved his confidence.

So far Ngaged has been exactly as described;
child/young person centred, individualised, paced to the young person’s needs and flexible to their needs and requirements. The time taken initially helps to match the mentor to the young person, which is vital when the young person and their family has been previously traumatised by poor service provision and devaluation. My child really likes her mentor as do I, and they are great with my child. I have observed my child being validated, heard and advocated for. She is pushed, gently, and given opportunities to progress and succeed. I watch her engage with all sessions that she can, and she is building her sessions into her own day, aware that she has them and needs to be prepared for them. When she can't engage, I am observing her advocate for herself. All sound like small steps, but for my child they are significant and important.

Just wanted to touch base with you to say how impressed X and I are with Ngaged.
They are brilliant, really good at engaging with X and with myself/family. Really good interventions physically, practically and emotionally. The team have done a good match with the staff/X. X works with Sam on a Monday, Becki on a Tuesday and Tappers on a Thursday. Positive feedback given from the staff and very complimentary of X and his achievements. Just want to express my gratitude and thanks to you for co-ordinating this AP and for them as a education/therapeutic service provider. X has eased into the transition and change with no issues.

I also wanted to reiterate that Ngaged's involvement with X had such a positive impact on his recovery and ultimate success with his GCSE's.
It wasn't just the tuition itself but the genuine care and consideration shown to X by everyone at Ngaged. Moreover, I really felt supported and understood as a Mum. The extra effort you all made to organise the exam arrangements was so welcome and I really believe that without that he would have found sitting the exams extremely challenging.
