What We're Looking For
There are two main roles in our team and although many of the qualities overlap, the two roles have a distinct emphasis: an academic or mentoring focus.
The young people we work with often have social, emotional, and mental health needs. They require empathetic, understanding, and patient professionals, to boost their confidence and self-esteem.

I have worked with Ngaged since January 2025 and I can honestly say it is the best job I have had in my career.
I work as an academic tutor and it is unbelievably rewarding. As a qualified teacher, I worked in the classroom for a number of years before joining Ngaged, however I always felt like I was always failing a percentage of my pupils. Ngaged uses a holistic approach, so we are able to take each student as a whole person. We meet their needs and support them not only academically but emotionally. That part of the job is the most rewarding for me, as I feel I can do the best for my students. I am not trying to drag them through a curriculum but I can teach them at their pace. Seeing my students make progress, whether that is achieving a qualification or attending an entire session, is one of many joys of this job.

Every single person is incredibly helpful and I have never felt so valued in a job role. I feel that my mental health is a priority as well as my work life balance.
