I was born in Scotland and moved with my family to England - although this was many years ago I still have a slight Scottish accent!
I love travelling and chocolate!
I was in a carnival club - on the Bridgwater circuit! Our cart was 60-100m in length it was illuminated with over 3000 lightbulbs as well as lots of moving parts. I loved building and painting the cart - performing on it was often cold as the carnivals take place during November!

I have been a science teacher for over 30 years. I love making my subject accessible! I am also a big advocate for vocational qualifications and have delivered health and social care as well as other childcare qualifications. Until recently I was in charge of careers and the sixth form.
