Life Before Ngaged Ltd
I studied printed textiles at Southampton University, after which I became a qualified secondary Art and Design teacher.
I was fortunate to be able to complete my NQT year at a wonderful special needs school, an experience that started my passion for teaching students with special educational needs. I now have over 25 years of SEN teaching experience across all Key Stages in various schools. Throughout my career, I have adopted a creative, adaptable, and supportive approach, encouraging my students to strive to reach their full potential.
What I Do At Ngaged Ltd
My teaching experience has led me to my current position as Arts Award Coordinator here at Ngaged Ltd. This role gives me the privilege of supporting our students as they progress through either the Bronze or Silver Arts Award. It has been inspiring watching them grow in confidence whilst developing their artistic and creative skills as they complete a portfolio of artwork and research.
I work three days per week for Ngaged Ltd and use the other two days working as a freelance illustrator.
